Why SKY is BLUE?
The sky appears blue because...🛸
The light emitted from the sun is white, which is a mixture of all the colors. When this light enters the Earth's atmosphere, the light of different colors is scattered differently. Blue light, which has the shortest wavelength, is scattered the most, making the sky look blue during the day. At sunrise and sunset, the sun's rays have to travel a longer distance, causing the blue and green light to be scattered more and the red color to become dominant. This process is called Rayleigh scattering.
